Attorney General Pam Bondi’s House Judiciary Committee hearing wasn’t just political theater. It was a five-ring circus. The event was complete with deflection and insults. It featured a performance worthy of a court jester serving a pretender king.
Welcome to the Circus (Population: Predators, Liars, and Fools)
On February 11, 2026, Attorney General Pam Bondi took center stage in front of the House Judiciary Committee. She spent nearly five hours engaging in what can only be described as performance art. It masqueraded as accountability. The hearing was supposed to address serious questions about the mishandling of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. Also discussed were the DOJ’s politically motivated attacks on Trump’s perceived enemies. Furthermore, Bondi’s aggressive immigration enforcement policies disproportionately harm BIPOC communities.
Instead? We got a masterclass in how to dodge, deflect, and deliver insults when you’ve got nothing substantive to say.
This is what happens when you put a loyalist in charge of the nation’s US Law enforcement apparatus. You don’t get justice. You get a jester performing tricks for the pretender’s court.
Pam Bondi is depicted as the DOJ’s court jester. She juggles accountability while the pretender court watches. She performs for a shadowy tribunal.
When Insults Replace Answers: The Raskin Incident
Let’s start with the most telling moment of the hearing, when Bondi called Representative Jamie Raskin a “washed-up loser lawyer.” Yes, you read that right. The sitting Attorney General of the United States hurled schoolyard insults. This happened at a sitting member of Congress during an official oversight hearing.
Why? Raskin boldly pressed her on why the DOJ hasn’t investigated credible allegations involving Trump and the Epstein case. Bondi chose an approach from the Trump playbook. She attacked the questioner, deflected from the question, and played to the base.
This isn’t how a serious Attorney General operates. This is how a jester performs when the crowd starts asking uncomfortable questions.
The Epstein Files: Victims Unprotected, Perpetrators Protected
Representative Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) didn’t mince words when he accused Bondi of lying under oath. The issue? Bondi claimed there was “no evidence” linking Trump to crimes in the Epstein case, despite witness testimony alleging otherwise.[1] When pressed, she offered no investigation, no follow-up, no accountability.
Then came Representative Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) with perhaps the most damning revelation of the day: the DOJ’s release of Epstein documents, over a month late, by the way, redacted the names of alleged perpetrators while leaving victim names exposed.[2] Let that sink in. The DOJ protected the powerful and exposed the vulnerable.
When Nadler asked Bondi how many Epstein co-conspirators she had indicted since taking office, she couldn’t, or wouldn’t, answer.[2] Survivors present at the hearing were asked by Representative Jayapal (D-Wash.) if they felt the Justice Department was serving them. Every single survivor raised their hand. The silence from Bondi’s office spoke volumes.[1]
This isn’t justice. This is a cover-up dressed in bureaucratic language.
BIPOC Communities and the ICE Enforcement Machine
But the Epstein files weren’t the only topic that revealed Bondi’s unwillingness to serve the global majority. When questioned about the Minneapolis shootings involving ICE and DHS agents that resulted in fatal shootings of U.S. citizens, Bondi dismissed calls for investigation with the kind of cold indifference that’s become a hallmark of this administration’s approach to BIPOC communities.
Her position is clear: ICE can do no wrong. Even when American citizens, disproportionately Black and Brown, are killed in raids that prioritize optics over due process, Bondi stands firm in her support of the agency. She frames aggressive immigration enforcement as “public safety,” but the communities being terrorized see it for what it is: state-sanctioned violence wrapped in the flag.
This is the same DOJ. It went after New York Attorney General Letitia James. She is a Black woman who dared to hold Trump accountable under New York law. Bondi’s DOJ tried twice to get grand juries to indict James. Both times, the grand juries refused, an extraordinarily rare occurrence that speaks to just how baseless the charges were.[2]
When you target prosecutors of color for doing their jobs, you’re not upholding the Constitution. You’re refusing to investigate white men credibly accused of sex trafficking. You’re desecrating it.
Bipartisan Pushback: Even Republicans Are Fed Up
Here’s the kicker: it’s not just Democrats pushing back. Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), a staunch libertarian conservative, has joined the chorus of lawmakers demanding accountability from Bondi’s DOJ. When you’ve lost both sides of the aisle, you’re not just playing to your base. You are actively undermining the legitimacy of the office you hold.
Calls for impeachment aren’t just Democratic talking points anymore. They’re serious conversations happening across party lines. Bondi has shown, time and again, that she’s more interested in serving Trump’s ego. She prioritizes this over serving the American people.

The Constitution She Claims to Defend
Bondi loves to wrap herself in the flag and claim she’s defending the Constitution. But let’s be real: you can’t defend the Constitution. You can’t weaponize the DOJ to target political enemies at the same time. You can’t defend it by covering up credible allegations against the sitting president. Additionally, enabling immigration enforcement that treats entire communities as less than human is indefensible.
The midterms are coming in November 2026, and voters are paying attention. The same communities have been brutalized by ICE. They have been ignored by the DOJ and dismissed by Bondi. These communities will show up at the polls. And they’re not interested in more circus acts.
They want accountability. They want justice. And they want leaders who understand that the law is supposed to protect everyone, not just the powerful.
What Happens Next?
Bondi’s performance in front of the Judiciary Committee wasn’t just embarrassing. It was a preview of what we can expect from this administration’s approach to justice. Their approach is to deflect, insult, and protect the powerful at all costs.
But here’s the thing about jesters in a pretender’s court: eventually, the audience stops laughing. Eventually, they walk out. And eventually, the whole circus comes crashing down.
The question isn’t whether Bondi will face consequences. The question is when, and whether Congress has the backbone to hold her accountable before more damage is done.

Pam Bondi had a chance to prove she was more than Trump’s loyalist. She had a chance to show that the DOJ could be an institution of integrity, accountability, and justice. Instead, she chose to be the jester in the pretender’s court, entertaining the king while the nation burns.
The global majority deserves better. Survivors of abuse deserve better. American citizens killed by federal agents deserve better. And the Constitution, the actual document, not the version weaponized for political theater, deserves better.
Come November 2026, voters will remember who stood for justice and who stood for the circus.
